The Brass Tap*, a Tampa-based craft beer bar and restaurant, is getting ready to start pouring on July 20.

Mic Foster is excited to bring the concept to the Columbus market and to offer the community 40 taps dedicated solely to Ohio brewers. In addition to their craft beer offerings, the restaurant will be serving up pub-inspired creations like a pretzel crust pizza, burgers and more.

“It’s been a process, but we’re excited to get this open,” franchisee Mic Foster said.

This is Mic Foster’s second Brass Tap in the state of Ohio. He opened the state’s first in Cincinnati in 2013. But, he doesn’t plan to stop at two. He said he’s already looking at other potential sites in the area.

“I think we see some real potential here,” he said.
