The Carpet Chemist, an emerging carpet-care franchise that offers an all-in-one service experience, has had amazing success during the first half of this year. The brand’s first franchisee launched with awe-inspiring results, and the company has started to see a great deal of buzz and attention from more prospective investors.

Dave Hettiger, The Carpet Chemist’s first franchisee, began operations earlier this year in Chicago. He serves the areas of La Grange, Riverside, Brookfield and Oak Brook and already has plans to sign on for more territories because he is experiencing such great immediate success.

“Dave is doing awesome. He made five figures in his first month, which is really good right out of the gate when nobody knows who you are,” said Brandon Cerrito, founder of The Carpet Chemist. “He's still trying to grow awareness about the brand there, and we're helping him with digital and other efforts to help create awareness. I have really high hopes for Dave.”

Cerrito said the brand has been working to introduce Hettiger to some of its national commercial accounts, many of which are very busy in the Chicago area. He foresees the commercial carpet cleaning services to “explode” over the next quarter.

The franchise has also seen a lot of interest lately, thanks to recent PR and marketing efforts highlighting its opportunities. An interested party in Illinois has verbally committed to signing, and they are just waiting for legal registration to go through. There is also interest in southern Indiana near their corporate territory and in California.

The Carpet Chemist is also targeting more areas in Kentucky like Lexington, Bowling Green and other parts of Louisville, as well as Texas and other states nearby, Cerrito said.

Rug cleaning services have really taken off lately, and Cerrito has noticed a significant improvement in their call center communications, making the appointment scheduling process seamless for clients.

For the remainder of 2022, Cerrito said the plans are ”to keep doing what we're doing.” He has goals of securing five franchise agreements by the year’s end and says they are “hungry and ready to grow.”

The total investment to franchise with The Carpet Chemist ranges from $77,000 to $109,000, including a $30,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with The Carpet Chemist, please visit https://thecarpetchemistfranchise.com/.
