The Desert Sun: California is Getting its First Your Pie Location

Your Pie is opening its first California location at the Indio Town Center with a grand opening event taking place on July 15. The customizable pizza chain focuses on personalized pizzas, craft beers and down-the-line service. Local owners Scott and Andrea Burr will be heavily discounting pies for those walking through the doors when they open.

“[Pizzas, paninis and salads] will be $3.14 all day long,” Your Pie’s Indio location owner Scott Burr said. “Also… the first 50 pizzas will be free, and one person will win pizza for life on grand opening day.”

Your Pie of Indio has also been partnering with the Desi Strong Foundation, hosting a Dine and Donate event as a way to not only train the staff but give customers a free taste for a good cause.

“We started a partnership with [the Desi Strong Foundation] a couple of weeks ago and we decided to do a few events with them throughout the year, starting with this Dine and Donate event,” Burr said. “We hope to raise a lot of money for them and then during the grand opening… we’ll present a check to the foundation with everything that we raised.”

Based on their predicted success, the Burr's are already aiming to open as many as four more locations in the valley within the next six years.
