The healthier alternative to traditional fast food is catering to its college-aged customers.

Pita Pit on Tennessee Street is looking to become a staple on Florida State University's campus. The brand underwent a major overhaul during the summer break, renovating the interior and revamping the menu with themed pitas fit for the vibrant college campus.
“We’re excited to bring quality products to our customers and provide people with an experience that they will want to come back for,” Pita Pit franchisee Jack Brighenti said to The FSView.
Aside from updated menu offerings and decor, Brighenti focused on utilizing every square-inch to make it accessible for private events, trivia nights and live music. The atmosphere is meant to welcome back area residents and bring in newcomers to experience fresh, healthy and customizable eating.
“Your pita is the blank canvas and we’re here to help you make something with it,” said Regional Manager Charlie Williams to The FSView.
Pita Pit now offers delivery and extended store hours, many nights until 4:00 a.m., to cater to late-night crowds and the often fluctuating schedules of their collegiate customers.
