Two years ago, Brian Murray and his family moved to the Lake Norman, N.C., area and fell in love with the region. Brian and his business partner Rocky Romano began scouting sites to open their very first Dairy Queen locations and landed on Tega Cay. 

They felt the area was a perfect fit for their budding business plans. 

On Friday morning, the two celebrated their new DQ Grill & Chill restaurant's opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and unveiled their plans to add future locations to the Rock Hill area. 

“We want to make sure we continue to grow,” Romano said. “We want to find the best place to best serve the need in Rock Hill.”
