The Ohio-based News-Herald recently reported on <a href="https://www.penn-station.com/franchise/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=the-news-herald-penn-station-set-to-open-second-mentor-site-2712240" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Penn Station East Coast Subs’</a> decision to open a second store in the city of Mentor. The article noted that this store will be the brand’s 22nd location in the Cleveland-Akron area.&nbsp;The opening is a major win for the <a href="https://1851franchise.com/pennstation">Penn Station</a> brand. Penn Station was founded in Cincinnati in 1985 and has since grown to more than 300 locations across the U.S. In addition to its variety of grilled and cold sandwiches, the brand is also known for its freshly baked bread, fresh-cut fries, hand-squeezed lemonade and chocolate chip cookies, which are baked onsite in each restaurant.&nbsp;The new Penn Station store in Mentor is owned and operated by a veteran brand franchisee, according to the New-Herald article report.&nbsp;“The restaurant is owned by Rich Moore, who started working in the restaurant industry while attending Kent State University,” the article states. “He previously worked as operations director at Cooker Restaurant Corporation before becoming a Penn Station franchisee.
