The trust and loyalty of your employees isn’t a one-way street. You shouldn’t expect to receive any amount of loyalty from your employees if you aren’t loyal to them. If you want the loyalty of your employees, the first step is to put in just as much effort as you expect from them.
Don’t forget that they’re people too, they have goals, wants, needs, and dreams just like you do. As their boss, it’s your job to get to know them and support them on their professional and personal journeys.
If you can learn to treat your employees with the respect, kindness, and loyalty they deserve, you can expect to receive just as much in return.
