There’s a New Engine Cleaning Service in Town: HHO Carbon Clean Systems

Owner of the transportation company A&W Express, Greg Williamson was experiencing some engine issues on his fleets. He didn’t have to worry about spending thousands of dollars on repairs or having his trucks out of commission for too long because he called HHO Carbon Clean Systems. In a recent FleetOwner article, HHO Carbon Clean Systems’ founder Jared English shares how his service has changed the game in carbon cleaning for fleet owners like Williamson.

English looked at countries in Europe that were ahead of the game in the carbon cleaning world. Amid the pandemic, he used the extra time spent at home to figure out how to bring this concept to the states.

“Through electrolysis, we turn water into hydrogen,” English told FleetOwner. “Once our hydrogen-water mixture enters the combustion chamber, the hydrogen ups the combustion temperatures, the water soaks into the carbon and acts as a mild solvent, and we yield a chemical reaction that causes a phase change in carbon, so it hitches a ride with unbound hydrogen molecules and comes out of the engine as a gas.”

This process is much safer for the environment and for those working on engines. Since it isn’t chemical-based and has zero emissions, it can’t burn the skin or pollute the air we breathe. HHO is also convenient. Since it is a mobile service brand, it meets customers where they are and finishes the process in 45 minutes. Plus, it’s cost-effective.

“In the last two years I saved $10,000 in turbos, plus the fuel savings,” Williamson told FleetOwner. “It cleans the carbon and puts more money in your bottom line for $200 less than the price of an oil change.”

The HHO brand is a franchise brand with one operating Evansville, IN and another set to open in Western Kentucky. English plans on opening a total of 10 franchise locations in 2021, and he’s looking at Nashville, Memphis and St. Louis.
