Tijuana Flats, a 135-unit fast-casual chain with 18 franchised locations, has named Rick Van Warner as its new CEO, according to a report in QSR magazine.

Van Warner has a long history with the fast-casual chain. He started off as a consultant in 2001 and became a joint-venture partner at one location. He has also been a longtime board member of the brand, according to the article, and has been the interim CEO since March of 2018.

His past experience includes roles at Parquet Group and Darden Restaurants Inc., according to the article.
