Times Record: Smoothie King Plans Arkansas Expansion

Three new Smoothie King stores will be opening in Fort Smith in the next few years.

Smoothie King is planning an Arkansas expansion with high hopes to add three more stores in Fort Smith. Franchise Development Manager Stephen Foley explains that, while no construction is underway yet, the franchise should have the first of those three open within the next year.
 
Foley mentioned the brand's urging of a healthy, active lifestyle and that he's excited to bring that model to the area.
 
“Fort Smith has always been a viable location for Smoothie King,” Foley said. “Ultimately, we have the right franchisees to develop the market. We are very selective with who we choose to be a part of the Smoothie King family. With the team we have now, we are more than prepared to introduce the Smoothie King brand to Fort Smith.”
 
Smoothie King aims to eventually have 30 to 50 stores throughout the state.
