Triangle Business Journal: S.C.-based breakfast franchise plans multiple locations in Raleigh

Bolstered by existing franchise-owned locations in Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs, Spartanburg-based Eggs Up Grill is planning significant franchise growth in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina with a plan to bring 12-15 new restaurants in the next decade.

Recently, the Triangle Business Journal talked to Eggs Up Grill CEO Ricky Richardson who came on board after the company was acquired by private investment firm WJ Partners and sees opportunity in Raleigh, Durham and surrounding cities to find qualified and passionate franchisees who want to bring Eggs Up Grill to their neighborhood. "I don't have a single franchise partner that has picked up and moved for the business opportunity,” Richardson told the Triangle Business Journal. “It's been bringing the business opportunity to the community that they already live in or are a part of…What really sets it apart is amplifying the benefit of our brand with that local connection."
