After four decades in the healthcare industry, Sharon Reynolds is starting a new chapter. Leveraging her wealth of experience in the field, Reynolds is now the owner of a TruBlue Total House Care franchise, providing home safety assessments and modifications to help seniors age in place safely and comfortably.

Reynolds was inspired to open a TruBlue franchise in Bedford, Indiana, after losing both her parents in rapid succession last year.

“I lost both my parents within 10 months, and it was an extremely difficult period,” she said. “Even with all my experience in healthcare, I found I was not prepared for the challenges that come with aging in place and end-of-life care.”

When she learned about TruBlue, Reynolds saw that the business was designed to aid in exactly the same challenges she had faced. “I don’t want anyone to go through what my parents and I went through. We can do better. So that’s why I joined the franchise,” she said.

For a long time, Reynolds knew she wanted to do something to help seniors. “I have a doctorate in behavioral health, and part of the whole idea behind behavioral health is servicing underserved communities,” Reynolds noted. “I believe that seniors are one of the most neglected communities.”

However, she never considered franchising as a way to do that. It wasn’t until Facebook put a targeted ad for TruBlue in front of her that she quickly learned it was exactly what she was looking for.

I had honestly never seen a company doing anything like what TruBlue does,” she said. “I had thought about starting my own company that provides similar services, but I knew it would take years and more money than I had to spend to get something like that off the ground. Now, I’ve got the exact business I was looking for, with a proven brand and the support of a franchise system behind me.”

Like all TruBlue franchisees, Reynolds hopes to provide superior community service to help seniors age in place.

“Sharon is a great addition to the TruBlue family, and we’re excited to have her on board,” said Sean Fitzgerald, TruBlue’s President. “??TruBlue has a high standard of service and a strong screening process to ensure that whoever walks through our customers’ door is fully vetted and trustworthy, giving busy families peace of mind that their loved ones and their homes are expertly maintained.”

TruBlue is actively seeking new franchise owners in markets across the country and has identified Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and Naples, Florida, as well as Dallas and Austin, Texas, as key development markets.

The total investment estimate for a TruBlue Total House Care franchise ranges from $65,050–$91,400. To learn more about franchising with TruBlue, please visit https://trubluefranchise.com/.
