The future is looking bright for leading moving franchise TWO MEN AND A TRUCK*®, as the brand maps out its aggressive plans for success across the West Coast. Looking to capitalize on the company’s record-breaking growth, franchise developer Steve Usiak will be attending the International Franchise Association franchise development seminar on Sept. 3 in anticipation of the brand’s West Coast expansion. He will be spending time in Redondo Beach to further seek prospects for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® and meet potential franchisees interested in a scalable and lucrative business.

On the heels of 52 months of record consecutive growth and the moving franchise’s 68th consecutive month of overall revenue gain, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has continued development plans in Southern California. With a presence throughout the Golden State that has escalated since recent franchise openings in Pasadena, San Jose, Torrance, Calif., the Midwest-based brand is planning on making a larger impact on the West Coast by the end of 2016.

This year, the 317-unit franchise system opened its first West Coast corporate-owned franchise location in Pasadena, Calif., which will also serve as a hub for the brand’s extensive California expansion plans. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® aims to open 30 additional locations across the state of California over the next three years, and the company plans to use the Pasadena office for training and West Coast franchisee meetings.

“California has been on our radar for a long time, and we’re incredibly excited to start staking our claim in the many appealing territories throughout the state,” said Chief Financial Officer Jeff Wesley. “Building on the momentum the brand has earned over the past few years and our newly established corporate presence in California, California will become a benchmark state for the company and will further TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®‘s national recognition.”

With a focus on ongoing growth initiatives, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is looking to open more than 15 locations in Southern California, which will generate more than 250 jobs over the course of the next 18 months.

“The hard work and dedication of our franchisees across the country has clearly paid off as shown by our successful growth and high customer referral marks,” said Wesley. “Focusing on this southwest expansion is a turning point for us as a company, and we couldn’t be more excited to add new, passionate, and savvy franchisees to the family.”

The brand has been able to benefit from the increased interest of prospective franchisees in the service segment of the industry. With many franchisees starting with a single territory and expanding once properly funded, the scalability, coupled with the initial investment between $178,000 and $583,500 (depending on the purchase or lease of a truck fleet), has positioned TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® to meet its ambitious goals.

“Visiting California, meeting with franchisee candidates and attending the development seminar will be the final pieces of the puzzle when it comes to this expansion,” Franchise Developer Steve Usiak said. “We see this as an opportunity to not only increase the national scope of our brand, but to also better the community by providing jobs and services throughout Southern California.”
