Uno Pizzeria Selects Applebee's Veteran as New CEO
Former CEO, Louie Psallidas, will help guide Jim Illaria through the transition to ensure a smooth change in leadership for the brand.
Uno Pizzeria & Grill has announced a change to its leadership team. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, Louie Psallidas is stepping down from his role as CEO following 11 years with the brand. The company has announced that his successor will be Jim Illaria, who formerly served as the CEO of the Applebee’s franchise company, Potomac Family Dining Group. Psallidas will help guide Illaria through the transition to ensure a smooth change in leadership.
Uno is currently in the midst of a refranchising initiative. The brand has recently sold eight company-owned locations as part of this process and plans to continue the process throughout the end of the year.
