The UPS Store, Inc. has recently launched the Mission: Veteran Entrepreneurship program, which aims to award a total of nearly $300,000 to a select group of 10 qualified first-time U.S. military veteran franchisees, according to <a href="https://www.apnews.com/Globe%20Newswire/2ad2644967bf903a283dd710acaa5d2a?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=ups-will-waive-29950-franchising-fee-for-first-10-veterans-to-apply-2710035" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">a press release from Global Newswire</a>.

&ldquo;The first 10 eligible veterans to submit a complete buyer&rsquo;s application packet and initial application fee will be awarded $29,950 in waived franchise fees,&rdquo; according to the press release. UPS will accept these application packets until Veterans Day, which is on November 11, 2019.

Currently, more than 400 UPS Store locations in the U.S. are owned by veterans, according to the press release.
