USA Today: Tostitos, Velveeta, KFC, Burger King get in on the royal wedding

The Royal Wedding is tomorrow and these franchise's are taking advantage.

On Saturday, May 19, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be getting married in the royal event of the year. Brands have been quick to leverage the festivities to maximize media frenzy surrounding the nuptials. USA Today broke down some of the top marketing efforts to come out of this royal affair.

Dunkin Donuts created the Royal Love Donut, a heart-shaped donut filled with jelly, frosted with chocolate and strawberry drizzle.

Burger King created a limited-edition sandwich called the American Royale for sale in the U.K. through May 20. In addition, customers in the U.K. will be given free crowns on the big day.

KFC is giving away 50 commemorative chicken buckets. “When we discovered Prince Harry proposed over a roast chicken, we simply had to show our support for the big occasion," said the company, which called the bucket a "priceless piece of British history.”

Mrs. Fields is selling a limited-edition giant cookie that reads "When Harry Met Meghan," a play on the famous romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally.
