Valley Morning Star: The Valley is Ripe for QSR Development

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes elaborates on why the brand is eyeing the Rio Grande Valley for growth

According to a recent study from QSR magazine, the Valley is ripe for expansion for quick-service restaurants. The area ranked No. 12 among smaller markets due to its rapid growth potential, and national brands like MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes are taking notice.

“We think the Rio Grande Valley has got a growing population, a stable economy, and we have a location open in McAllen and we think there’s room for growth in the Harlingen-Brownsville area,” said Director of Franchise Sales of MOOYAH Jordan Duran in an interview with the Valley Morning Star.

The Plano-based company will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary in March, and with numerous cities in Texas ranking in QSR's top markets, expansion in their home state seems viable.

“We think we could definitely support another restaurant or two in the Valley,” Duran said to reporter Rick Kelley.
