U.S. Air Force Veteran and <a href="https://1851franchise.com/propertymanagementinc">Property Management Inc</a>. franchisee Paul Arrington recently wrote a blog post for the <a href="https://www.franchise.org/blog/how-franchising-gives-veterans-a-career-path-after-retirement?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=veterans-are-finding-a-career-path-in-franchising-after-retirement-2713027" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">International Franchise Association</a> (IFA) about how his experience in the military helped him transition into a pathway to owning his own business.Arrington spent 21 years in the U.S. Air Force working on fighter planes before moving into recruitment. During his time in the military, he also earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration.“When I retired from the Air Force in 2002, I realized that working in recruitment had essentially set me up to be an excellent salesperson. Real estate was always something I wanted to do, and I felt equipped to enter the industry because of the valuable skills I gained from my time in the military. So in 2002, I started working in real estate sales,” said Arrington.He started his own property management company in 2008 and worked in sales, property manager and homeowner association management.
