The move away from meat has picked up steam in recent years, and shows no signs of slowing. Data from nutrition company Soylent shows t hat 10% of U.S. adults are vegan or vegetarian — up thirtyfold from the early 2000s. And scientists predict that by 2040, 60% of the world will have a plant-based diet. 

This trend in consumer behavior is one that the franchise industry has taken note of. More restaurant concepts with vegan and vegetarian premises are popping up, and are seeing increasing interest as popular choices.

This brand was created in 2010 and offers customers 100% plant-based burgers. The company is known for promoting sustainability, and franchise owners have a large network of support. 

Daily Veg

Daily Veg is an emerging brand that offers vegan plates and organic milkshakes, smoothies and acai bowls.The company opened in 2018 and offers a discounted franchise fee for veterans.

Vegan Fine Foods

This new vegan franchise based out of Florida is seeking to expand its plant-based menu to different parts of the country. The first Vegan Fine Foods location was opened in 2018. This opportunity offers a low investment point. 

Stand-Up Burgers
