An Intouch Insight report found that KFC has the quickest drive-through while Chick-fil–A has the slowest.

In line at Chick-fil-A, customers spent an average of around 8.5 minutes waiting in their cars, while KFC customers waited a little over 5 minutes. The survey examined 10 U.S. restaurant chains and over 1,500 locations in June and July.

Though Chick-fil-A’s drive-through had the longest lines, its customers were some of the most satisfied compared to the other chains surveyed.

??“With friendliness having declined in the industry, brands who can crack the code on employee satisfaction and training will be able to drive better customer service,” said Laura Livers, Intouch Insight’s head of strategic growth, told The Wall Street Journal.

Hardee’s joined KFC in having some of the shortest wait times, averaging around 5.5 minutes and having fewer than two cars on average in line at a given time.

Average wait times for all restaurants surveyed  were as follows:

  • KFC: 5 mins 03 secs
  • Taco Bell: 5 mins 18 secs
  • Hardee’s: 5 mins 23 secs
  • Dunkin’: 5 mins 28 secs
  • Carl’s Jr.: 5 mins 47 secs
  • Arby’s: 5 min 57 secs
  • Burger King: 6 min 03 secs
  • McDonald’s: 6 min 51 secs
  • Wendy’s: 7 mins 11 secs
  • Chick-fil-A: 8 mins 29 secs
