President Brian Balconi elaborates on the market and why it's a great fit for the beloved coffee concept

Gloria Jean's Coffees is looking to begin a big expansion in the state of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin State Journal published a great piece detailing the brand's search in the state and specifically in the Madison area.
The article discusses the Gloria Jean's brand and what separates them from the competition, while also mentioning the company's ideal locations.
Said President Brian Balconi, "Its a two-tiered approach because shopping malls have been our bread and butter for a long time. We know the business and our customers love to see us in the shopping mall so that will continue. But there are coffee drinkers outside of shopping malls so we want to be there as well."
The piece also lays out the financial requirements for potential franchisee partners, and touches on the role Laina Sullivan is playing as the company's director of franchise development.
Said Balconi of Sullivan,"She was brought on board to take Gloria Jean's to the next level and to add many additional franchise locations. We think we have a good niche in the coffee business by coming out with new flavors and varieties."
