<a href="https://sylvanfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=yahoo-news-how-sylvan-learning-is-helping-students-adjust-to-new-learning-environments-2714104" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Sylvan Learning</a> Center Director Kathy Michel spoke with <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/adjusting-school-options-sylvan-learning-223939535.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=yahoo-news-how-sylvan-learning-is-helping-students-adjust-to-new-learning-environments-2714104" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">WXYZ</a>, an ABC affiliate news station in Detroit about how her center is helping students stay on top of their studies during the transition to virtual learning. Michel specifically spoke on <a href="https://1851franchise.com/sylvanlearning/info">Sylvan Learning</a>’s latest program, “School Support at Sylvan”, that allows parents to work from home while their child works with a tutor throughout the day through remote learning.&nbsp;“By the very definition, remote learning involves a lack of connection,” Michel told WXYZ. “There needs to be a connection between another adult or with a teacher. I think the biggest complaint I hear is, ‘How can I do my job, while making sure my kid is doing their job?’”Michel went on to explain that parents can’t do it all and need help during this time.
