Maid Right Poised for Major Growth in 2017

The residential cleaning franchise hits refresh with new investments in tech, marketing and franchise development.

Franchisees can launch a home-based Maid Right business with investments starting as low as $1,600, or can grow as a Maid Right Master Franchisee with investments ranging from $208,000 to $600,000. Over the course of the next year, the brand hopes to expand in Kansas City, Kansas; St. Louis, Missouri; Orlando and Tampa, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The catalyst driving the brand’s growth is the acquisition of Premium Franchise Brands (“PFB”)—the parent company of Maid Right and its sister brand JAN-PRO—by Incline Equity Partners, which took effect in October of 2016. The acquisition will help support the Maid Right brand’s organic growth, as well as provide guidance for new opportunities for the company. The ultimate result of this new development has been a comprehensive refresh for the franchise system. Beyond that, Maid Right is adding to its internal staff by adding a senior director and director to its franchise development team.

“Maid Right has the longest runway for PFB, so we’re especially excited to see all the changes underway being implemented throughout the year,” says Maid Right vice president of franchise development Scott Thompson. “One area we’re really driving focus on in 2017 is expansion. Our goal is to open 10 new Maid Right Master Franchise locations, and we’ve already sold one in Austin, Texas this year. Our franchise model has already proven itself to work in any market, so I’m confident that new franchisees can successfully start a Maid Right master franchise business in any of the markets we’re targeting.”

Alongside the brand’s expansion plans, Maid Right is also renovating its entire franchise development website and implementing a new technology initiative with the guidance of FranConnect Sky, the largest franchise management software company in franchising, with over 600 brands using it. Maid Right also enlisted the help of a new IT director who is helping to configure, develop and train up the new platform. The redesigned website will most likely be unveiled in mid-April.
