MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes*, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain, will open their first Florida restaurant in early 2015 in Miami with plans to bring more than ten additional locations to the Miami-Dade area. Venezuelan-born entrepreneur Enzo Di Giovanni will bring the brand to the Sunshine State and spearhead the brand’s development and growth across the area.
“The
MOOYAH brand is one that will really resonate in the communities throughout the Miami-Dade area,” Di Giovanni said. “The mixture of the best quality food in the segment and a commitment to providing a top-notch, family-friendly experience is going to make
MOOYAH a household name across South Florida.”
Di Giovanni was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and got his first taste of the business world in his family’s printing business. In 2011, he ventured into the restaurant business and quickly found success with ownership of
Denny’s restaurants in Miami-Dade. He discovered
MOOYAH through a franchising magazine and after doing research and meeting with the corporate team, decided it was the right brand to bring to Miami with a tremendous potential for growth. In his mid-30’s, Di Giovanni represents the young and vibrant nature of the
MOOYAH brand and the appeal that the brand has with Millennials.
“The customization and healthy options at
MOOYAH are what will keep young people and families coming back,” said Di Giovanni. “
MOOYAH never sacrifices quality and the corporate team really cares about never diluting the experience, which will lead to a loyal following in Florida.”
In 2015,
MOOYAH aims to continue expanding their presence across the country, with a focus on Atlanta, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Tampa-St. Petersburg, and Cincinnati. In Miami-Dade, Di Giovanni plans to open at least ten restaurants over the next decade.
“Enzo is the perfect partner to bring the
MOOYAH spirit and commitment to quality to Florida, and expand our presence throughout the greater Miami area,” said Michael Mabry, Chief Operating Officer for
MOOYAH. “At
MOOYAH, we understand the importance of being a positive presence in the communities we serve, and Enzo has already started making the connections with local schools, churches, and organizations to create the foundation.”
