In a recent interview with FOX Business, Melting Pot CEO Bob Johnston discussed how the restaurant industry and many other small businesses are struggling to find employees amid labor shortages, and how the franchise brand is handling these challenges. Johnston mentioned how the brand is looking for an additional two to four hundred employees to help assist with the demand in its 97 locations. Johnston also discussed how the Melting Pot, like other brands, is feeling the strain of labor shortages, but unlike many other brands, the restaurant franchise prioritizes celebrating its employees’ hard work and accomplishments and strives to provide the best service possible to customers.

Johnston said that the brand’s customers have been extremely understanding of short-staffed restaurants and continue to visit the Melting Pot for the fun environment and experience.

Melting Pot recently launched a franchisee incentive program as it plans to exceed 125 locations over the next five years.
