Now with more than 50 restaurants scattered across the U.S, Fayetteville, AR based <a href="http://slimchickens.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=northwest-arkansas-democrat-gazette-fayetteville-based-slim-chickens-rockets-into-2017-with-rapid-growth-11238" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Slim Chickens</a> is taking its growth strategy to the next step with international development plans.&nbsp; 
 
Chief Executive Officer Tom Gordon told the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette that 2017 is shaping up to be the company&#39;s biggest year yet. 
 
Gordon said he expects there will be more than 70 Slim Chickens restaurants open worldwide by the end of 2017, with annual revenue predicted to be more than $100 million. 
 
The brand&#39;s first international location is set to open in Kuwait this spring and will have the same look and feel as domestic Slim Chickens restaurants. Gordon said&nbsp;the majority of the chicken and other items for the operation will be locally sourced and that he&#39;s confident the quality of the food and service will be up to brand standards.
