Pollo Campero, the fast-casual restaurant franchise serving flavorful chicken meals, continues to expand across the U.S. at a rapid pace. The brand closed out 2021 with 80 U.S. locations, 270 worldwide locations and 18 signed leases. Now, Pollo Campero is looking for more franchise partners who share the brand’s passion for flavor and quality and want to be part of the franchise’s growth to becoming the world's largest Latin American chicken chain.

“In addition to having a passion for the brand, we look for candidates who have multi-unit operational restaurant experience with at least one concept that matches Pollo Campero’s capital investment, as well as the capital to invest in the development of at least three Pollo Campero locations,” explained Luis Javier Rodas, Managing Director and COO of Pollo Campero.

Blas Escarcega, Pollo Campero’s Director of Franchise Development, says the brand seeks out candidates who have restaurant experience because they understand it’s an industry that requires a lot of time and effort but can also be very rewarding. Additionally, Escarcega said the brand evaluates prospective franchisees’ liquidity and net worth to ensure they have the financial wherewithal to succeed.

“We want to make sure that franchisees are successful from the get-go; we want to make sure they have an infrastructure that can support the growth as we look to the future,” Escarcega said. “But even with all the money in the world, we still want to make sure that the franchisee has the passion for our brand and wants to be a part of our growth story.”

Rodas stated that for potential franchisees who are interested in being full-time, hands-on owners and are willing to work with the systems and experience that the brand has to grow across the nation, there is likely a fit.

“This is a partnership for several years, and we want to make sure that both parties are aligned and have the same vision of growing the brand. “ said Escarcega. And if that match is made, both parties are going to be successful.”

The initial investment to open a Pollo Campero ranges from $887,250–$2,126,500*. For more information, visit: https://camperofranchise.com/.
