&quot;The inspiration was our customers and the changes we&#39;re seeing in our business. Back in the day, the pizza business was (about) 80 to 90 percent delivery; these days we have a far larger percentage of our customers are ordering online or calling in and coming in and picking it up,&quot; <a href="http://topperspizza.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=qsr-magazine-toppers-pizza-unveils-new-prototype-design-and-plans-for-expansion-10025" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Toppers Pizza</a> chief development officer David Biederman told QSR Magazine reporter. &quot;With our customers coming in, it gives us a great opportunity to showcase what we do and we&#39;re very proud of our pizza. We make our dough fresh every day; we hand chop our vegetables, and we use real Wisconsin cheese.&quot; 
 
Biederman mentioned recently there has been an increase of customers coming in the stores. 
 
&quot;We&#39;ve got a lot of personality; we&#39;ve got a lot of character. And we have a whole ethos around making great pizzas and using high quality ingredients and doing things right versus the big guys who are just trying to do it cheap,&quot; Biederman told the reporter. &quot;Our customers love who we are and they identify with us, and it&#39;s a great way of transmitting that difference to people.&quot;
