Hotels continue to evolve with the ever-changing&nbsp;landscape of the hospitality industry. A recent <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/roadwarriorvoices/2018/02/19/hotel-ceos-talk-security-technology-and-room-service/335815002/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=usa-today-hotel-ceos-talk-security-technology-and-room-service-2705651" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">USA Today article</a>&nbsp;broke down four top hotel executives&#39; thoughts on all things hotels, including food service.&nbsp;

&quot;We realized that people want to not just eat in their room alone &mdash; they have that choice &mdash; but they&#39;d rather be down in the living room. They&#39;d rather be down in the open lobby. They&#39;d rather be at the high tables, working, playing, watching. Even when they&#39;re alone, they&#39;d rather be in a community. So, we&#39;ll continue to provide various alternatives, but we have to stay up with the times,&quot; said Best Western Hotels and Resorts CEO Elie Maalouf.&nbsp;

Maalouf has introduced Grubhub and OpenTable&nbsp;to his hotels and awards loyalty points to guests who use these services. Local restaurants&nbsp;can benefit from hotels shying away from becoming full-service by capitalizing on these food partnerships.&nbsp;
