Rylan Miller is the newest franchisee to join 810 Billiards and Bowling, the rapidly-expanding restaurant and entertainment franchise. Miller comes equipped with a rich franchising history plus service in the United States Navy, leaving him well-prepared for the endeavor. Miller has been a multi-unit franchise owner for Tropical Smoothie Cafe since 2014, managing units across five states.

810 Billiards & Bowling is now set to open it’s fourth location in the state of South Carolina, scheduled to open in Q2 of 2022 at 842 Woods Crossing in Greenville, South Carolina. The franchise location is being led by Miller and his ambition to embrace new opportunities for growth. “I like how it is totally different than anything I’ve ever done,” he said.

A visit to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in 2007 got him interested in franchising, and a recent visit to an 810 Billiards and Bowling inspired him to expand his portfolio. “It was wholesome fun,” he said. “I feel like this is a renewed sense of entertainment.”

“We think it is a huge advantage to have someone like Rylan on our team who has so much franchising experience,” said Michael Siniscalchi, the president of 810 Billiards & Bowling. “He’s a great ambassador for our brand to keep growing at a fast pace, and we’re thrilled to have someone on our team equipped to inspire a lot of people when they check out our business.”

Miller’s service in the U.S. Navy took him on multiple deployments, taking on duties as a mission commander and UAV pilot. He received several aviation licences in his time in the military and has since developed a name for himself within franchising, seeing it as a great model for people coming out of the service. His investment strategy allowed him to invest in a proven system that doesn’t require the guesswork or challenges that come with a business without a franchise system. “You get some security when you have a franchisor that has proven the model,” he said.

Miller says 810 checked all of the boxes he looks for in a new business venture. “My plan is to invest in good brands that complement each other well,” he said. “They also have to be scalable. I like the growth opportunity that 810 Billiards & Bowling provides, and it can really help people grow their business and career.”

Miller’s interaction with the 810 Billiards & Bowling team started before the COVID-19 pandemic. He believes as the world embraces a regained sense of normalcy, the interest in the 810 brand will grow with resounding success. “People want to get back to normal,” he said. “There is going to be a greater demand for people to go out and do things, and I feel like our business is the perfect place for this. It offers a wide variety of things to consumers and captures a lot of different interests.”

Miller spends his free time with his wife and two-year-old daughter. Miller is also an avid shooter, car racing and motorcycle enthusiast and is constantly finding ways to satisfy his passion for aviation.

The total investment necessary to begin operation of an 810 Bowling Franchised Business is
