AdWeek: Mobilegeddon: Is Google Really Ranking Mobile Sites Higher?

Research shows companies with mobile-friendly sites rank higher in Google search results.

Every brand wants to be No. 1 in Google search results, and with good reason. Google has become to online searches what Band-Aids are to adhesive bandages.

With that said, franchise brands that haven’t focused on making their websites mobile-friendly are falling behind.

Citing data from Moovweb, Ad Week recently reported that of more than 1,000 important e-commerce keywords, 83 percent of Google results were mobile-friendly. Meanwhile, 77 percent of the top 10 results on page one as a whole were mobile-friendly.

In short, Google is rewarding companies who make mobile a priority. Are you one of them?
