Applebee&rsquo;s just launched a catering program, according <a href="https://www.restaurantbusinessonline.com/operations/applebees-aims-holiday-parties-new-catering-program?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=applebees-launches-catering-program-2708455" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">to a Restaurant Business report</a>.

The new catering program even offers options that can cost less than $10 per head if it&rsquo;s a six-person minimum, and orders can be placed as far as 14 days in advance or as short as two hours in advance, according to the article. 

Applebee&rsquo;s is joining a wave of restaurants this year that have launched catering options in an effort to appeal to more diners with varying eating needs. 

Earlier this year, <a href="https://1851franchise.com/nrn-mcdonald-s-tests-breakfast-catering-2706678" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">McDonald&rsquo;s tested</a> breakfast catering. In May, The Halal Guys announced a <a href="https://1851franchise.com/fast-casual-the-halal-guys-to-launch-catering-rewards-program-2706458" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">catering rewards</a> program. Potbelly Sandwich Shop also opened a <a href="https://1851franchise.com/fast-casual-potbelly-sandwich-shop-opens-catering-kitchen-in-plano-texas-2706251" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">third catering kitchen</a> in April.
