AWATfit Looking to Enter New Jersey
The mobile fitness franchise is looking to make its way over from the Big Apple to New Jersey to bring more at-home fitness options to the state.
Working out no longer means having to go to the gym.
In the age of COVID-19, workouts have been done at home squeezed in between Zoom calls in the backyard or living room. NJ.com reported that AWATfit is looking to expand into New Jersey to provide residents with personal training services outside of a gym setting.
AWATfit CEO Richard Decker built the fitness brand knowing the challenges that come with brick-and-mortar gyms and traditional fitness programs. By encouraging clients to exercise outside, he’s seen boosted energy levels in his clients and improved results.
“‘You call, we roll’ is one of our mottos,” Decker told NJ.com. “We basically show up at your home, beaches, parks and other specific places where we host classes. The trucks can hold anything from a one-on-one session to a 20-person workout. We do fundraising events with the trucks as well.”
