Supplemental learning franchise Best in Class Education Center is hosting its First Annual Franchisee Conference. The conference will focus on helping unit owners develop goals and actions plans for 2018 in the areas of vivid vision, company goals, personal goals, work/life balance, student and staff recruitment, and marketing.

“Our conference theme is From Better to Best,” said Best in Class CEO & Founder Hao Lam. “We hope to better address our franchisees’ needs and help them clearly layout what they’d like to achieve from a business and personal standpoint through their Best in Class ownership.”

Best in Class ensures that it can “Give the Gift of a Lifetime,” and is dedicated to providing superior supplemental education to guarantee students’ individual success. At the conference, franchisees can connect with one another to share their achievements and create goals for themselves that can apply to all unit owners throughout the system.  This helps to provide the franchisee with an opportunity to find success at all locations.

“We have several franchisees that have been with us for years, overseeing ownership at multiple locations, and newcomers who have just signed on to open up centers,” said Lam. “By sharing thoughts at the conference, seasoned franchisees can gain new insight from our unit owners that have just signed on as they bring in fresh ideas. At the same time, new franchisees can learn from our veterans by hearing their success stories and learning how the Best in Class franchise model has worked for so many.”

Marketing is a strong piece for any company in any industry to master, and Best in Class will cover the importance of having a set branding plan for the upcoming year. While the brand can implement a marketing plan system-wide, it’s important for individual unit owners to represent their center in the best, most positive way.

“Local marketing is crucial for franchise brands as we operate on the success of our unit owners in their given territories,” said Lam. “While we can provide them with the tools and guidelines to properly brand Best in Class, it’s important they determine a strategic marketing plan for themselves as well so that they can reach new students and families in their markets.”

Best in Class has already seen great success this year, with eleven new center openings, and by expanding into new territories including Atlanta, southern California, and central Florida. Lam also just released his autobiography, “From Bad to Worse to Best in Class”, detailing how he overcame his struggles as a Vietnamese refugee in the Philippines to found one of the fastest growing education brands in the United States.

Lam kicked off his first book tour event back in March in the brand’s home of territory of Seattle, followed by visits to Portland, OR, Redmond, WA and Katy, TX where he signed copies of the book and shared his story to inspire others that success is possible through hard work and determination.
