In an interview with <a href="https://1851franchise.com/" target="_blank">1851 Franchise Magazine</a>, Sharon Peterson the brand&rsquo;s VP of Franchise Recruitment and Development, explained, &ldquo;We are extremely happy with how the brand has been growing over the past few months and we don&rsquo;t plan on stopping anytime soon. We are focused on building on this existing growth momentum and developing in targeted areas and states.&rdquo; Next on the list is California.

In fact, much of the recent success has taken place within California with openings in both northern and Southern California. &ldquo;I didn&rsquo;t get the education I deserved when I was little, so I&rsquo;m passionate about it now,&rdquo; explained Lam when speaking about what the brand was founded on. &ldquo;We are responsible for our next generation and teaching them to be better people.&rdquo; Lam grew up in Vietnam, and is now leading the 50-unit brand. &nbsp;

Lam, being an immigrant, really empathizes with people who come from similar backgrounds. This aspect of the franchise&rsquo;s recruitment goes hand in hand with its plan to grow in Southern California.
