The expansion is being led by husband-and-wife franchisees Kush Patel and Prapti Vadgaonkar.“Prapti and I, we've always wanted to open a bar and a restaurant, in a way, and this just seemed like the perfect fit, like it was a merge of both of those,” Patel told&nbsp;<a href="https://www.missouribusinessalert.com/entrepreneurs/we-want-to-support-the-community-the-brass-tap-to-open-five-missouri-locations/article_cf06841c-038a-11f0-9aa4-574f986e036c.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=missouri-business-alert-the-brass-tap-expands-in-missouri-with-five-locations-2729075" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Missouri Business Alert</a>.Olivette, a suburb with a population just over 8,800 and a median household income of nearly $106,000, was chosen for its strong demographics and need for casual, social dining options. “We're gonna offer a place for social gatherings, and that's something we could not find in Olivette when we were doing our research,” Vadgaonkar said.The Olivette location will anchor a major new development called Olive Crossing and is expected to create “probably 20 to 50 jobs,” according to Patel.
