Laundry is something that every person has to do and can be highly time-consuming. Co-founders of 2ULaundry and LaundroLab, Dan D’Aquisto and Alex Smereczniak, noticed how many companies were building convenience-based services, but no one was entering the laundry industry. In 2015, they decided to create a solution for the laundry industry, and from that, 2ULaundry was created. The brand is currently in nine states and has recently entered the Tampa market.
“Tampa is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country and was always on our radar,” said D’Aquisto. “Our lead investor, Florida Funders, who co-led our Series A back in 2019, is based out of Tampa and is the first franchise store owner of our sister company, LaundroLab, which opened up in Tampa earlier this summer.”
Ultimately, D’Aquisto wants 2ULaundry and LaundroLab to be household names throughout Florida and the rest of the country. The brand is just starting its growth initiative and is looking forward to bringing the best solutions possible to even more people.
