With market predictions indicating it will become the third-largest restaurant by sales by year’s end, it’s clear why Business Insider chose Chick-fil-A as its fast-food chain of the year for 2018.

Kalinowski Equity Research anticipates the chicken chain’s sales growing an estimated 12-15 percent by the time the books are closed on 2018, a rate that would lift it past the likes of fast food industry giants Wendy’s, Taco Bell and Subway.

Beyond its impressive sales numbers, Chick-fil-A has embarked on international expansion, launched nationwide delivery and began testing a meal kit offering in 2018.
