<a href="https://www.chick-fil-a.com/Franchising/Franchise?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=chick-fil-a-plans-to-enter-the-meal-kit-market-2707232" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Chick-fil-A</a> will become the first quick-service restaurant in the United States to offer meal prep kits when it commences its test period in 150 franchises in the greater Atlanta area next month. <a href="https://www.ajc.com/lifestyles/chick-fil-enters-meal-kit-market/a40dRBhKnEyuVaDCEX5yAM/?icmp=np_inform_variation-test&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=chick-fil-a-plans-to-enter-the-meal-kit-market-2707232" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">An article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution</a> highlighted the brand&rsquo;s efforts to compete with companies like <a href="https://www.blueapron.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=chick-fil-a-plans-to-enter-the-meal-kit-market-2707232" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Blue Apron</a>, <a href="https://www.hellofresh.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=chick-fil-a-plans-to-enter-the-meal-kit-market-2707232" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">HelloFresh</a>, and <a href="https://www.homechef.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=chick-fil-a-plans-to-enter-the-meal-kit-market-2707232" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Home Chef</a>, which offer meal prep kits on an order ahead or subscription basis.

Customers will be able to buy the meal kits at the counter, in the drive-thru or in the Chick-fil-A One app. They will be able to choose from 5 recipes: chicken parmesan, chicken enchiladas, Dijon chicken, pan roasted chicken and chicken flatbread, which use 90 percent of the same ingredients the chain uses for its in-store menu options. Chick-fil-A plans to utilize customer feedback to determine whether to roll out the products in all of its locations. 

Chick-fil-A innovation program lead Michael Patrick said this is the brand&rsquo;s biggest-ever test in its home market, calling the meal prep kits &ldquo;one of the most innovative product launches in our company&rsquo;s history.
