International Workplace Group (IWG) is the world's largest provider of flexible workspace solutions, with more than 3,500 locations in over 123 countries worldwide. Mark Dixon, CEO of IWG, recently spoke with CNN to explain why employers and employees are increasingly looking for hybrid work solutions following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“A revolution is the best way to describe it because it is a fundamental change in the way people want to work and companies want to support workers — a permanent change and one of the lasting legacies of the pandemic,” said Dixon.
Fueled by this shift, Dixon told CNN that IWG expects to see the most rapid growth in its 20-year history as people work more remotely. “People are working in offices, but they don't want to be forced to come downtown every day,” he said. “If you are an employer and want the right people, you are going to have to offer hybrid working environments. It is that flexibility of the workplace that companies and people are working for, and IWG is about providing it to as many people as possible.”
