Pizza juggernaut Domino’s is making moves to resolve the age-old question, “Where’s my pizza?” Despite saying no to third-party delivery even as Domino’s CEO calls for a push to 25,000 units by 2025, the brand still clearly has delivery on the brain. Now, “Domino’s is piloting a test of GPS driver tracking, beginning Monday in 27 corporate-owned stores throughout Phoenix,” according to an article on QSR.

According to the article, “Customers who order from one of these stores can track the location of their order and driver via a map from the order confirmation page of Dominos.com or the Domino’s app. They will also receive an estimated delivery time and can opt into SMS notifications that let them know when their order is about two minutes away.”

The GPS system will also include optional navigation functionalities for drivers, plus a customer callback option, the article said.

Additional markets where Domino’s next plans to rollout the GPS initiative include: “Lansing, Michigan; Roanoke, Virginia and the suburban Seattle-Tacoma, Washington area,” according to the article.
