Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Announces New Marketing Lead

Mia Meachem will assume the role of chief marketing officer after DFRG's acquisition of Barteca Restaurant Group

Del Frisco's Restaurant Group has appointed Mia Meachem CMO of all five of the company's brands, per an article in Nation’s Restaurant News.

Meachem enters the role after previous CMO Brandon Coleman III was named President of Del Frisco’s Grille, one of the parent company’s subsidiary brands, in August. The rest of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group’s brand portfolio consists of Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, Sullivan's Steakhouse, Barcelona Wine Bar and Bartaco. The latter two were acquired earlier this month.

“As we have begun a new era at the company through the acquisition of Barcelona and Bartaco, we felt it was the optimal time to reinstate the role of CMO. Mia’s past experiences working with consumer-focused companies will be undoubtedly instrumental to elevate our marketing and innovation efforts moving forward,” CEO Norman Abdallah said.
