Winnipeg Free Press: Dairy Queen® Brings its DQ Grill & Chill® Model to Winnipeg
The brand is planning to add seven new restaurants in the area within the next three to five years.
In an effort to create a larger presence in Manitoba, Dairy Queen*® has begun the process of adding locations to Winnipeg, according to Chris Falle, the company’s director of franchise development.
Falle said that there's a focus on Winnipeg's downtown area in addition to opening some sites in Manitoba's more rural municipalities.
"We have a lot of successful locations in rural Manitoba, whether it’s Winkler, Steinbach or Selkirk," Falle told the Winnipeg Free Press. "But we’d also love to be in Dauphin, Thompson, Flin Flon, Altona and Beausejour. They’re all target markets for us, as well."
Within the next three to five years, Dairy Queen is hoping to add seven new restaurants to Manitoba's capital.
