Avon-Avon Lake Patch: Penn Station East Coast Subs Opens in Avon

On October 25, Penn Station East Coast Subs opened a new location on Detroit Road in Avon, Ohio. The new Penn Station is one of over a dozen in Ohio, but the first in Avon.

To celebrate the opening, Penn Station held a drawing open to the first 100 customers at the Avon location for a chance to win free subs for a year. All 99 runner-ups were given a free meal, including a sandwich, fries, and a drink.

"I've watched Avon over the past 15 years grow at record rates into the major retail market it is today," said the location's owner Rich Moore. "Also, the nearest Penn Station is 10 miles away so I felt like this was a great opportunity to introduce our brand to a new community with a booming retail market.”
