Dunkin' Launches Dogs of Joy Program Complete with Chief Joy Officer

The brand is helping to increase the number of service dogs visiting children in hospitals as part of its Joy of Childhood Foundation.

Dunkin' has announced the launch of a new initiative – the Dogs of Joy. According to a recent article in QSR Magazine, this serves as a component of its philanthropic program, the Joy in Childhood Foundation. The initiative strives to increase the number of service dogs found in children’s hospitals across the nation.

As part of the launch, Dunkin’ has adopted its own resident dog. Cooper Dunkin’, a black lab and golden retriever mix, has been named the company’s own Chief Joy Officer as well as the ambassador for the initiative. He is a trained service dog from Canine Assistants in Milton, Georgia. Cooper will pay special visits to hospitals across the United States.
