Robert Maynard is one of the founders of Famous Toastery, a breakfast and brunch restaurant that emphasizes quality. Speaking with Franchise Times, Maynard shares how excited he is to expand Famous Toastery’s excellent cuisine via new franchisees and locations.
The last franchise location that Famous Toastary sold was in 2018. The brand is selective with its expansion, as Famous Toastery wants to be synonymous with affordable luxury for its consumers. This is possible only through investing in the proper people.
“You’ve got to take care of franchisees and your employees, and that, in turn, takes care of your customers. With franchising — support, support, support. They pay a royalty to support them, so make sure they get what they need.”
Maynard wants to ensure that the franchises have full corporate support. The brand currently has five to seven units in the development stage.
