<a href="https://www.franchisetimes.com/Current-Issue/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchise-times-togos-tweaks-catering-targets-2713300" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">According to an article in the May 2020 issue of Franchise Times</a>, <a href="https://togosfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchise-times-togos-tweaks-catering-targets-2713300" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Togo’s</a>, the legacy sandwich chain, has always had a strong catering program. Unfortunately, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, those sales started to decline. In order to pivot its catering strategy, <a href="https://1851franchise.com/togos">Togo’s</a> shifted its target market from office parties to essential workers.“There are a lot of employees that are still in business and our support group has put a list together to reach out to hospitals and Amazon warehouses in order to promote catering sales,” Togo’s VP of Operations Farid Biglari told Franchise Times. “This has helped dramatically, especially now when most people don’t have time to go anywhere and eat.”The catering boxes are sealed by the employees in the restaurant and delivered safely.
