Franchise Times: Tony Roma’s Opening First U.S. Franchise in Six Years

West Palm Beach, Florida is getting the first new location after the rib-chain’s brand transformation.

After six years, Tony Roma’s is opening a new location in the Sunshine State. According to a recent Franchise Times article, the rib-based chain announced a new location in West Palm Beach, Florida after pausing U.S. growth efforts. This new location will be the first restaurant that aligns with the new global prototype that has been tested out since 2016 in Orlando.

“We expect 2018 to be a banner year for the Tony Roma’s brand as we ramp up new restaurant growth in the USA and internationally, strengthening the foundation forged through our recent brand transformation work,” said Bradley Scher, president and CEO of Romacorp, Inc.

The West Palm Beach location is located near the Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) and close to the beachfront which will be sure to bring high levels of foot traffic. Specifically, this Tony Roma’s is in the Hilton Palm Beach Airport hotel with 3,000 square feet and 176 seats.
