With admiration for their community, Albert and Annmarie Dallao will be introduced ARCpoint Labs to Reading, PA this fall.  With Albert’s professional experience mixed with Annmarie’s marketing background, the business duo is the ideal combination to contribute to the success and growth of the franchise.

Starting his professional profile directly after college, Albert established a career in many diverse roles which taught him professionalism as well as management.  With some knowledge of the franchise industry, owning a small business intrigued Albert. When the business duo reviewed the business model of ARCpoint Labs, they knew they had found what they had been looking for.

Tell us a little bit about your background.
We are natives of Reading, PA and are very passionate about our community. I, Albert, obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from Albright College in Business Administration as well as an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. I have over 30 years of professional experience in manufacturing and business leadership which has provided a broad range of managerial, supervisory, administrative and customer service skills.

Why did you choose to become a franchisee with ARCpoint Labs?
The concept of having a small business intrigued me and I chose to meet with a franchise consultant who proposed four to five different concepts. While studying the different business options, I appreciated ARCpoint Labs for the professionalism of the business model and the growth rate of the franchise model.

Where did you get most of your advice/do most of your research?
ARCpoint does an impeccable job of building up the process to ensure franchisees see success. I worked closely with the Vice President of Development and he would answer any questions I had, it was very reassuring.

What were your perceptions of franchising before starting the process?
I actually looked at a franchise model 25 years ago but the industry has transformed a great deal since then and there was a lot of new information to learn. Franchising provides great opportunities with an established model and a high success rate.

Annmarie thought franchising was a good avenue to venture down especially given both of our backgrounds.

What were the most unexpected challenges of opening your franchise?

Up to this point there really have been none, ARCpoint does a wonderful job explaining every detail and they portray themselves very well from the beginning stages.

How much would you estimate you spent before you were officially open for business?
With the franchisee fee, we're spending between $110,000-$115,000

What’s next for you and your business? Do you have any development/expansion plans with the brand?
I'm focused on making sure this location sees success first and am looking forward to helping the franchise grow.
