Because we are able to carefully coach them toward the next step of their career, our success rate has out-performed national averages.&#8221; Through a free educational process that includes a personal franchise assessment, FranNet consultants determine which potential franchisors fit that individual&#8217;s needs, passions and business goals. The accuracy of the FranNet process is in the numbers. FranNet surveyed nearly 1,300 franchisee placements the company made between 2006 and 2010. Of those, nearly 92 percent were in business after two years, and 85 percent were still in business after 5 years. &#8220;A part of our job is to also educate the prospect on the franchising industry, as well as identify which franchisors meet all of the candidate&#8217;s needs and desires based on the extensive assessment and consultation we provide,&#8221; said Bailey. &#8220;A lot of the new franchisees we place comment that they never imagined themselves buying into the particular business they end up choosing, but we open their eyes to new opportunities.&#8221; FranNet also pays close attention to the segments of the industry seeing the greatest growth, ensuring not only the right fit for each candidate, but also one that has the greatest potential for future success. With a pulse on the economy and the job market, FranNet expects to place another 150 franchisees and add another 1,500 jobs throughout Canada and the U.S. before the year&#8217;s end. &#8220;Our consultants use a vetting process that produces very real business opportunities for both the candidate and the franchisors we work with,&#8221; said Bailey. &#8220;Whether it&#8217;s with other companies or themselves, the only way the economy is going to improve is if more people are employed.
